Hindu devotees offer prayer to Shivling, a symbol of Hindu God Shiva, on the occasion of Sawan Somvar, at a temple in Allahabad on Monday, July 21, 2008. Sawan is the fifth month of the Hindu calendar and is considered the holiest month of the year. Devotees worship the idol of God Shiva on each Monday of this month, known as Sawan Somvar.
